Appreciate You. Appreciate Your life.


How do you face your day? Are you one of the people who hear the alarm clock, rolls over and say to yourself, “I don’t want to get up? I don’t want to go to work. I just want to roll over and ignore the world.” Or are you the type that jumps out of bed ready to face the day? Do you wake up with energy and a plan to be productive! Do you have your to do list and know how to develop a positive outlook to begin. How you face your day can put into motion what you attract all day. When you face the day knowing how to develop a positive outlook, with that excitement and anticipation of a great day, guess what you get? A Great Day! We bring about in our lives what we think about. So the trick is to think good thoughts and expect good things to happen. Develop a positive outlook. This positive outlook will activate the Law of Attraction.

In my E-book, Journey to Your Excellence Within, I talk about attitude and refer back to THE SECRET. In The Secret, they talk about an Attitude of Gratitude. So, how do you develop a positive outlook? I believe the easiest way to develop a positive outlook is to follow what was suggested in “THE SECRET.” Go to a quiet spot and make a list of all the things for which you are grateful. I don’t care what may have you down, if you begin to list all the things for which you are grateful, you will begin to feel a shift in your emotions. Then each day, the first thing you do when you open your eyes, is review this list. Each night before you close your eyes, you spend time reviewing your gratitude list. Throughout the day, you may review it again. When you begin to focus on gratitude, you will develop an “attitude of gratitude.” You will feel good, grateful, and positive.” You will develop a positive outlook. You will shift your emotions. You will change your inner feelings. I highly recommend you start and finish each day with time thinking about all of the gifts of life offered to you throughout your day.

Life is too short to go through it without enjoyment. Each day offers many pleasures. No matter what you are feeling, if you begin and end each day with appreciation, you will notice the many pleasures. So, shift your emotions. Develop a positive outlook. Be grateful for what is good in your life. There cannot be bad without good. Are there not two sides to a coin but just one coin? If you are struggling with feelings of depression, grief, general sadness, low self-esteem or whatever negative feeling that is bogging you down, practice focusing on things for which you are grateful and shift your emotions. See how simple a process this can be.

Now, you may have to start with small things. I am grateful that my eyes opened this morning and that I can see. I am grateful that I am breathing. I am grateful for the bed I sleep in and the roof over my head. I am grateful for the food that nourishes me. I am grateful that I have clothing on my back. I am grateful for the blue sky. If it’s raining, I am grateful for the rhythm of the rain. I am grateful for the person that notices me and nods hello while I’m walking down the street. I am grateful that I am alive and that with each new day, there are new possibilities. I am grateful that change can happen at any moment and that although I may not be in the best situation for my life at this moment, the next moment still offers me possibility. I am grateful that I can develop a postive outlook. I am grateful that I am in control of my own destiny and because of this, I can change my situation. I am grateful that I can think, therefore I can learn, therefore I can change and grow. Are you getting the picture? Shift your emotions. Change your inner feelings. Be grateful. Focus and develop a positive outlook.

Change what you are thinking and you will change you. Change your thoughts and you will change your emotions. Learn to shift your emotions. Focus on what feels good. If something is upsetting, think about what makes you laugh. Learn to change your inner feelings. If you are uncomfortable in one situation, think about a situation in which you are comfortable. Shift your emotions. Your brain doesn’t know what is real from what is imagined. Trick it into feeling good. Change your inner feelings. If you are feeling insecure think about those situations where you know you are confident. Focus on what is good in your life and appreciate all that is good. Focus on what is good in you and appreciate you. Develop a positive outlook. Be grateful for all that you are all that you are becoming and appreciate your Journey To Your Excellence Within.
