Hello and Welcome:
My name is Madelynan Doyle. I am a licensed mental health counselor and mental health practitioner who has been practicing in New York City since 1981. I graduated from University of Massachusetts with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, went to New York University for a Masters in Counseling Psychology and have a Ph.D. in Clinical Hypnosis from the Concordia College and University, and certification through the National Association of Clinical Hypnotherapy. I am experienced in family counseling, marriage counseling, conflict resolution, counseling young women with eating disorders, couples counseling, career counseling for college students and graduates, counseling young people with learning disabilities, illness counseling, grief counseling, counseling with parents of those struggling with ADD, ADHD, and just about any other life bump.
Personally speaking, I am the mother of three fabulous young people ranging in age from 26 to 34 and a wife of almost 37 years. Unfortunately my 26 year old will never grow older as he passed almost two years ago from a tainted heroin injection, which includes in my experience, loving and living with an addict as well as the continued grieving of the loss of a child. It is safe to say, life has offered me a lot of experience and through that experience I have gained a great comfort in spirituality and love for others as well as gaining appreciation for the gift of life.
